Pre-Optometry Scholarship

Congratulations! The CrackOAT Scholarship Committee was very fortunate to have received many qualified applications in 2020 and we look forward to receiving applicants for the 2021 annual pre-optometry scholarship. The “Crack the OAT” pre-optometry scholarship will be awarding more scholarships again in 2021 to help deserving pre-optometry students. Applicants are required to be enrolled full-time seeking a career in optometry and at least a junior in college (or graduated). Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and will be awarded based on scholar merit, community service and financial need. Please submit your application here.

  • •Scanned unofficial transcript (GPA needs to be above 3.0)
  • •Scanned OAT score report (optional but recommended)
  • •Short video clip introducing yourself and how CrackOAT was helpful (optional but recommended)
  • •1-2 page essay (single-spaced) on why you deserve the “Crack the OAT” scholarship
  • •Scholarship window & deadline: January 1 – September 30, 2020 before 5:00 PM EST
